TEAM COMPETITION SEASON:

Cali ACT offer two Calisthenic Team Competitions within the Australian Team Competition Season that runs from May to October:

• Cali ACT Preliminary Team Competition - usually held in August
• Cali ACT Championship Team Competition - usually held in September.

There is also a club run competition - the Deanne Friendly Team Competition - held in June.  It is also common for many ACT clubs to travel interstate for competitions during the Team Competition Season.

Cali-dance team classes run from February till October. For competition presentation, teams perform in a theater environment where performances involve costuming, stage dressing, lighting, an audience and adjudicators. Points and places are awarded and critique sheets provide feedback to coaches and teams.

SOLO & DUO COMPETITION SEASON:

The Cali ACT Solo & Duo season - held between March and May - complements the team program for our club members.  

• Cali ACT Preliminary Solo & Duo Competition - usually held in March & April
• Cali ACT Championship Solo & Duo Competition - usually held in May.

The Karilee Solo & Duo Competition - usually held in March - is another local opporutnity for solo and duo competitors.

To compete in the Cali ACT Solo & Duo Competitions performers must be registered with an affiliated Cali ACT or Australian Calisthenic affiliated club.  Cali ACT affiliated competitors must also compete in at least two (2) items in both Cali ACT Team Competitions in the same year of competition.  Please see the Calisthenics ACT Competition Protocols for full details on eligibility to compete in the Cali ACT Solo & Duo Competitions.
