Cali Dance is a team sport, with teams training towards competing at three competitions. Team training usually commences at the start of the ACT school year term, with the last team competition being held in September. As such, it is important for parents and participants to acknowledge the level of commitment that is required.
Coaches choreograph items depending on the capability of girls. When it comes to stage time, non-attendance can result in losses of points or disqualification. It is essential that coaches know if and when girls won't be at competitions. As our sport revolves around only three competitions, it is expected that all team members attend competitions throughout the year.
